Dr. Boyce Watkins Says Facebook is Banning Black People’s Accounts

There has recently been a lot of talk within the Black community about Facebook and its apparent bias towards Black issues. Because of this, many people in the Black community are looking for alternative social media platforms to use. There are numerous complaints of accounts being suspended for days, weeks, and sometimes even months, for simply mentioning topics regarding racism, unfair treatment of Blacks or even some Black history topics.

In a couple of recently released videos, Dr. Boyce Watkins says he and many of the people connected to him are experiencing this first hand. He calls it the Facebook “Purge” and he believes Facebook is actively targeting accounts that frequently speak about racism, Black history, and other issues that are affecting the Black community.

We as Black people have to get off the Facebook plantation and build our own platform for our people. I have been banned from Facebook twice, for 30 days, for going against racist people who say such ugly vile and disrespectful things about Black people, and Facebook does nothing to them. I look forward to the day Facebook is sued for discrimination.

They’ll never be sued. The government owns FB. We just need to stop supporting their BS and build our own. We cant complain and still use the platform

Bottom line is we have to stop complaining and start doing something. I left FB. Follow me on Black Junction –

I have a quick solution to this issue of Facebook banning blacks’ accounts!! I remember reading some time ago, a group of Facebook staff were caught taking down certain clips or articles that were posted on the bulletin boards at the Facebook offices! A lot of which were clips regarding Black Lives Matter and such, when Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook realized what was going on, he immediately held a summit or meeting with all departments and demanded that the practice stop and desist! My point is, there is a core group of staffers at Facebook that are perpetrating this, all the while Mr. Zuckerberg may not be aware! Trust me on this, when he found out initially what had happened regarding the posting on the bulletin boards and such, he was outraged and made a statement! Now, I would suggest, to get in touch with Mr. Mark Zuckerberg himself, not his staff or secretary, but the man himself!! Chances are, he is not aware of the constant harassment of black accounts!! Inbox him here on Facebook, and if you get no response, repeat the process, until he is made AWARE of this situation!! I am certain, that when he gets a whiff of what is happening, he will make changes! He has done it before! In fact, the last time he made a statement, that if he anyone was caught not giving equal consideration for whatever issue, they would be immediately terminated! I saw the clip and I saw the statement!! Let’s get on that immediately Dr. Boyce Watkins!! In fact, I am going to get on it myself, so as to give him the message LOUD AND CLEAR! Peace!!

Sorry but after looking at the Black Junction site it appears to be owned by Facebook. A person of color would implement their own flavor not clone the competition. They’ve done nothing more than change the colors. My people are too fly for that! Of course they have people of color to be the “face” of the site but the like button and just the entire format say to me it’s nothing more than a segregated Facebook. I deleted my account. I do hope I’m wrong and if so wish them success but I doubt it.

I have gotten banned numerous times for saying things like “White people are cowards.” But every time I report someone for calling me a nigger it comes back as a-ok. I’m done with it. Fuck these racists.

I’m done with Facebook and all white-owned and controlled social media. But tell me, why is Black Junction on Facebook?

Simply Sunshine & Friends June 20, 2020 at 8:13 pm

Because they own BJ. Look at the format. I was hopeful but after seeing the like button and the format I was like NOPE!

Oh yeah ! Absolutely no doubt ! I was personally suspended and banned on a regular basis on FB. For comments on white racist post on FB. Till I took own profile off line , and still intend to return and delete my face book profile. I don’t want nothing to do with white racist Facebook ! The whole Black world should boycott fb. And yes have our own (Black) separate social media platforms. FUCK racist whitey !!!
