Eric Garner’s Daughter Speaks On The Police Charged in Her Father’s Death

NYPD Sgt. Kizzy Adonis has been subjected to disciplinary charges, which include her being stripped of her gun and badge in connection with the July 2014 death of Eric Garner, a 43-year-old Black Staten Island man who died after police administered a controversial choke hold. Officials said Friday that Adonis, who is Black, was charged with failure to supervise, an internal charge.

Eric Garner’s daughter, Erica Garner released this video voicing her concerns with the current climate of police brutality and judicial system injustices within her father’s case and many more throughout the country.
