Jaden Smith Launches Pop-Up Food Truck To Feed Homeless In Los Angeles

Jaden Smith shared on social media that he launched a vegan pop-up food truck called “I Love You Restaurant.” The pop-up truck serves free vegan food to people on Skid Row, an area in Los Angeles that contains one of the United States’ largest homeless populations. Yesterday (July 7), he explained in his Instagram post that his pop-up truck is only the beginning.

“The @ILoveYouRestaurant Is A Movement That Is All About Giving People What They Deserve, Healthy, Vegan Food For Free,” he wrote as his caption. “Today We Launched Our First One Day Food Truck Pop-Up in Downtown LA. Keep A Look Out Because This Is The First Of Many #JADENinc”

Thank you Jaden.. If possible can you stop make a parking stop by HOPICS at 5849 Crocker, Los Angeles, CA 90003.. We have homeless families with children over here everyday M- F trying to get connected to services and housing with our agency. HOPICS is the lead agency serving individuals experiencing homelessness in SPA 6 of LA. Skid Row in sPA 4 is a great start, and we’d love if you could show Sout LA some love too. This is a great and original idea for a healthy meal for our most underserved Angelenos! Keep up the great work.. We have a Homeless Connect Day coming up; your service would be a great partnership for this annual event or just any day you choose to come park at one of our access centers.

My friend has been doing this for years in Ohio

Cooking the food himself and relying on volunteers and donations to fund!
