A new video that was recorded minutes before the shooting death of Ahmaud Arbery was recently released.
A copy of the video was obtained by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The footage was recorded from a security camera on a house across the street and from a camera inside the house that was under construction.
In the video, you see a man that looks like Arbery walking around the inside of the construction site. The man in the video was in the construction site for less than 5 minutes. He does not touch or remove anything from the site. He looks around and then jogs away.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said it was examining the footage.
“We are using video to put the timeline together to fill in the blanks of what happened that afternoon,” said Scott Dutton, GBI’s Deputy Director of investigations, told the paper.
Police on Thursday charged father and son Gregory McMichael, 64, and Travis McMichael, 34, in the shooting death of Arbery.
The pair lived near the construction site.
